It’s an incredible amount of work! I can’t lie though, it’s fun as well. In a nutshell, I’d say that a styled shoot is a collaboration of wedding industry professionals seeking to bring a collective idea to life. The objective of the shoot is usually publication online, in print (or both) to inspire future couples and other wedding professionals. Each of the vendors donate/volunteer their time and services to the shoot. Vendors being the planner, photographer, venue, florist, hair stylist, makeup artist, baker, rentals, bridal shop, and more are involved. Style shoots are supposed to be theatrical, very much over the top! The more you can add to it, the better. Bigger is better! For your generosity of participation, you would receive all the retouched digital images for your own marketing platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) It’s a win-win for all of us! 

Once the photos are completed, my next job will be to get us published.
